Some different monk builds for DoA (see for details)
Hi. I'm actually trying to make a different build for the Domain of Anguish, since i have been through it with my ele and i see many deaths for the tank. My original idea is to have a tank that can stand on its own--no bonder.
I got the idea for a Spirit Bonder monk tank and a smiting bonder from someone in the ranger campfire section (was trying to get a ranger into DoA, he suggested a 600 monk tank w/ranger using QZ for the 600 to have constant Spell Breaker, and famine with the 600 having AV or SV) But, I tried to do some SB tanking myself (tested Vs trolls) and it didnt come out too well. then i tried it with heroes (Symbiosis, QZ and essence bond, basically)... i did live longer but still... So I'm trying to figure out what's wrong with the SB tank, the person that suggested it said the SB tank worked fine, but I'm not seeing that. And any suggestions for the tank would be greatly appreciated. I came up with: Spell Breaker| Prot Spirit| Spirit Bond| AV or SV | Balth Spirit | Vital Blessing | Blessed Aura. Smite bonder: Retribution | Signet of Judgement | Holy Wrath |Life Attunement| 3 empty spots| Ressurect |

Take Shield of Absorption with you and you will have less problems with SB because it doesn't run out that fast.

ok, i'll try that. But now I'm thinking about something else the guy said.. he said the 600 had smiting bonds, and i now think he means the 600 brought them, not a separate bonder... you wouldnt be able to use holy wrath tho...
so.. Spell breaker| prot spirit | Spirit Bond| SoA|Av OR SV |essence bond?| Retribution |Blessed Aura im not too sure how attributes would be spread for this though... |

Ok... the atts dont spread too much like that.. needing at least 9 illusion for Av or Sv and at the VERY least 13 Divine Favor to keep up Spell Breaker while under QZ... then needing 14 prot for SoA. Maybe the bonder has prot bonds and retribution -.-...
